Robotics Club: Drummer

As part of the Northwestern University Robotics Club, I built a drumming robot that can be programmed to play any song using MIDI software. Each arm has a solenoid motor that hits a drum and can play songs that are impossible for humans to play!
I am the lead manufacturing engineer on this team and have been responsible for multiple physical components of the robot. I have designed and manufactured the frame, which is TIG welded together to create a support system for the entire assembly. I also designed, cut, and formed the aluminum sheet metal body and many other smaller components.
We have performed at several campus events and are currently working on new robot instruments. Come back soon for updates!
